Sesame Street - Two Little Dolls(better copy)

Last week I checked out the Sesame Street Old School DVD for Sister and Brother. (And let's be honest- for me too. I wanted to see Sesame Street the way I remembered it.) This was the first clip we watched, and it transported me instantly back to my childhood. Any of you remember it?

Yes, Yes, Yes!!
We have that DVD and I flipped out when I first saw it. The other one that gets me is the chef who stands at the top of the steps with "10 chocolate layer cakes" and then he falls down the stairs. I can't remember if that's on the same DVD or another one.
Isn't it funny the things that transport you back to the age of 6??
Hope you had a great Mothers day!

I loved Sesame Street when I was little. It was SO much better than it is now.
And I, too, remember the "10 chocolate cakes..." like kate said, above! I also LOVED Grover, especially when he was the waiter.

Remember when Snuffalupagus was only seen by Big Bird, ever?

Remember "a loaf of bread, a quart of milk, and a stick of butter." ?

Oh, I could go on and on. I wonder what our kids will remember? It won't be as good, I'm sure.

I remember that from when I was a little girl! It stuck with me for all these years. I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one! What dvd is it from?
